“Gardening for Wildlife” talk by Sarah Pitt

24th March 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

£5

Discover how important gardens can be for wildlife; find enjoyment and a new interest in gardening with nature in mind and see how your garden can be a vital resource for animals in a changing climate. Sarah, who lives in Abbots Leigh, has been a wildlife gardener for thirty years and will show you how your garden can provide valuable habitats for all sorts of species. At the start of the 2023 gardening season we welcome everyone – beginners and experienced, old and young – and there will be plenty of time to share knowledge and experience as no gardener knows everything!

Sarah champions nature conservation and will talk about how many once common species of animals are declining in numbers and what we can do to help them. It has never been more important for gardeners to provide safe havens for wildlife and bring nature closer to home.

No need to book. £5 on the door including wine or soft drink. Under 18s free.
