Pill Community Foundation
The Resource Centre is supported by the Parish Council, Alliance Homes and money generated by our sales of books and services such as photocopying and computer access. We deal with over 9000 enquiries every year
Our aim
To act as a hub for all community activity in the village and our dedicated group of volunteers are ready to assist and inform on many of the queries that are raised with us. Even if we cannot help we generally know somebody who can!
We have a wide range of existing services, such as: books for sale; paintings by local artists; bus timetables; housing and legal advice surgeries, and information on various local topics.
Get Involved
We would, however, like more local people to become actively involved, either as Trustees of the Pill Community Foundation which is the body that runs the Centre, or as volunteers at the front desk.
Volunteer
Becoming a volunteer is your chance to make a real difference to our community. It is an important element in making Pill an inclusive and mutually supportive society as well as a tool for your personal development and improving your life skills.
If you are interested, please call in at the Centre for more information.
