Upcoming events – (list of local groups and their events currently being collected.)

Do you have an event coming up? Need the perfect central, accessible venue?

Whether it’s art club, exercise classes, youth club, lunch club or the Repair Café, your local Community Centre is able to accommodate so many functions. This flexible space not only holds regular weekly groups, but is also suitable for ad hoc meetings, celebrations, children’s parties (with space for a bouncy castle!) and many things in between.

With bright, airy, spacious rooms of different sizes, suitable for a variety of meetings and activities – all at reasonable rates – it’s well worth a look! Comfortable seating and large and small tables provide flexibility in room layout and use.

There is a very well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel counter tops, commercial cooker, microwave, dishwasher, plate warmer cabinet and serving hatch. Crockery, cutlery, glasses and ‘fine china’ available for special occasions.

The stage, stage lighting, sound system with CD player and iPod connection, piano, loop system for the hard of hearing, projection screen and projector stand make this a perfect venue for large gatherings.

Disabled access to the ground floor, as well as baby-changing facilities and, of course, plenty of parking.

And if all that wasn’t enough, there is also a lovely community garden for use during the summer.

The Community Cafe is associated with Pill Tiddlers and runs term time Fridays from 9 till 11am in the Community Centre.

If you would like to enquire about availability and prices, or would like to look around the Community Centre please contact Lesley Davey on info.pillcommunitycentre@gmail.com or 01275 372745.
