Portishead Railway Group

The group campaigns for the re-opening of the railway line, including the station at Pill. All permissions and funding have now been secured and the railway will re-open in 2026. At that point this group will transition to a "Friends of the Railway". Your support is still needed, come and meet your local Pill contacts in this group, Bob Wring and Rob Emony.

Wheelchair accessible toilets. Refreshments available

Membership restrictions:
None.

Fees:
There is a one time £10 joining fee per household become a member of the group. No other fees thereafter.

Volunteering information:
By joining the Portishead Railway Group your voice will be heard in making sure the railway works for both Pill and Portishead. Once the railway is operational and we transition to a "Friends of.." many more opportunities to improve Pill station will become available.
