Volunteering information:
Volunteering for the library service can give you the opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, improve your CV for future job prospects and help your local community. We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities at many of our libraries. These include: helping provide a warm and welcoming space, helping deliver family learning activities, choosing and delivering books for the home library service, and supporting people to get online. Pill Library is especially looking for home library service and community living room volunteers. For more information contact the library or visit the council website.

If you are interested in sharing a skill such as a craft, academic interest or hobby and you would like to deliver a one-off workshop, run a regular group or a short course, we would also love to hear from you.
