Pill Festival Band

The main purpose of the band is to allow anyone in the locality to learn and play live music, so that they can play for their own enjoyment, and also that of others in bringing live performances to local events and concerts. We also encourage under 18s to play by providing free group lessons and free instrument loan. There is no audition needed, and we cater from complete beginners upwards.

The Pill Festival Band is a group of 40 plus local musicians who rehearse together on Monday evenings at Penny Brohn UK.  We have 3 sections; beginner, training and performance, and so welcome players of any ability.

Our main charitable aims are: to provide a platform for local musicians of all ages to regularly practice and learn together in a sociable, relaxed, safe and supportive environment, to perform at local events, to provide low cost opportunities for young people to develop musical and social skills and to encourage the breaking down of any local social or financial barriers to the acquiring of music skills.

If you would like to come and play with us (all orchestral instruments and all levels and ages welcome) or want to know more about the band please see our website for further details.
